Bottled water consumption is more in India than any other country

The availability of pure water in bottles has helped many people solve the problem of getting pure water where water was scarce or pure water was not available. Yes, there are many countries in world where water availability is lower compared to other regions because of various reasons. As per the reports, India’s per capita bottled pure water consumption is five liters per year while the rest of the world consumes on an average 29 liters.

Till 18th century, bottled water was a western concept and initially, only a handful of elite group of people used to drink bottled water. Eventually, people started understanding the benefits of drinking pure water and along with many other factors, people started using pure water for consumption. If you are living in Kolkata, you can ask water dealers for water jar delivery in Kolkata and around and enjoy pure and unadulterated water easily.

There are three types of impurities that have to be removed while the water is treated using RO process. The first level cleans up un-dissolved impurities like the odor of the water and its color. The second level of clean up procedure removes dissolved impurities like iron, magnesium etc. The third and the most important cleaning level is - removing microbiological impurities like pathogens and bacteria.

Reverse osmosis

The reverse osmosis membrane removes superficial impurities and improves the taste of the water. It can help make salty sea water fit for consumption, and hence, is one of the most effective methods of water purification so far. There are many coca cola authorized bottlers in Kolkata who bottle pure water by purifying it using RO techniques.

Nano-filtration

The process of nano-filtration removes ions like magnesium and calcium and ions that have higher molecular weight. Nano-filtration removes most of the impurities that pollute the water, like suspended particles and bacteria.

Ultra-violet filtration

Ultra-violet filtration involves passing water through ultra-violet filters that acts as germicide, eliminating the bacteria and other harmful microbes from water.

Ozonation or ozone generation

Ozone generation process involves dividing an oxygen molecule in two unstable atoms, letting the two to combine with another oxygen molecule to produce ozone. After that, oxygen is made to pass through this ozone thus causing invasive oxidation that disinfects water and gives longer shelf life to it.

So, here you will get a comprehensive list of procedures that are adopted for the process of water filtration. The bottling plants do the final task of bottling the water in containers in the most hygienic process, and there are several procedures that make water fit for consumption because these water purification plants and bottling units make a joint effort to make pure bottled water available for the people.
